After my fall marathon, I found myself lacking motivation to stay as active during the winter months. The New Year Challenge, was the perfect remedy! It was fun, engaging, and made the dreary winter months so fun! It was the perfect transition from restrictive marathon training, to having fun and staying active. Looking forward to it again this year!
There were two reasons I was really inspired to do it. One was that it was a sense to commit to something that would help with my physical health, keep me committed to something, and hold me accountable. And two, I really liked that the challenge benefited Eastside Baby Corner. And I was blown away at just how fun it was and what a difference it was making for me. I felt like overall, I felt better by walking every day. And it was something that I started to really look forward to. It wasn't a burden. It was totally achievable.
